Demanding results without training never works
The manager calls the salesperson in for a conversation about performance. "You are not hitting your target." The salesperson replies: "But no one showed me the new process." This scene repeats in thousands of companies. And the problem is not the salesperson.
The sequence that transforms performance
In the T.A.C. Method, the order is non-negotiable: first train, then monitor, only then hold accountable. When the manager skips training and goes straight to accountability, they are being unfair to the team and ineffective as a leader.
Training with quality means giving the employee the tools, knowledge and practice needed to execute to a standard. Monitoring means observing whether the standard is being practiced, with data and records. Only then does accountability arrive with authority and fairness.
