48% of companies fail in 3 years. What the data shows

According to IBGE, 48% of Brazilian companies close within three years. And 60% do not survive the first five years. The main reason is not lack of capital or excess taxes. It is lack of efficient management.

The data shows that 25% of entrepreneurs who closed their companies pointed to lack of management as the main cause. That is second only to high taxes (31%), but ahead of lack of demand and difficulty accessing credit.

The pattern that repeats

The scenario is always similar: the entrepreneur opens the business with a good idea, works hard in the first months, wins customers, but does not implement process. Sales depend on the owner, marketing is improvised, finance runs in a notebook. When volume grows, chaos grows with it.

Hiring a consultancy is not an expense, it is an investment in survival. The cost of having no process is infinitely greater: lost customers, eroded margin, a demotivated team and, ultimately, the closure of the business.
